Public Dialogue / IMBIZO “This future starts now”- Executive Mayor, Cllr Parks Tau answers questions about EcoMobility in Johannesburg

The large auditorium at the IDC Conference Centre in Sandton was crowded; the debate was participatory and competent. Citizens had the opportunity to interact directly with the Mayor and a panel of experts. Some of the debates included connecting urban planning with the development of sustainable transport, the importance of re-orienting car-centric culture, social inclusion, road safety, short-term interventions and communication and engagement around the issues of transport. “This future starts now”- Executive Mayor, Cllr Parks Tau.
