The world of urban mobility has been moving fast forward at an unprecedented pace. Urban mobility is consequently becoming the convergence of all aspects of our living environment, encompassing technology, policies, social equity and sustainability. Among all, governments are increasingly asking how to work with stakeholders to make urban mobility more integrated, efficient, safe and affordable.
In 2019, the EcoMobility Alliance partners with Autonomy, an annual international event that brings innovators and policy makers together to change the way we move in cities, to host the EcoMobility Days during the Autonomy & Urban Mobility Summit 2019, taking place in Paris, France from 16-17 October 2019.
The EcoMobility Days 2019 aims to facilitate the exchange among participating cities, catalyze dialogues between private and public sectors, and stimulate the discussion of the future of urban mobility. To achieve this, the two-day EcoMobility Days 2019 will consist of a wide range of activities, including the roundtable discussions, workshops, guided tours at the Autonomy exhibition area as well as site visits in Paris.
Roundtable discussions and city-to-city exchange activities in the event will provide a platform for cities to demonstrate their innovative urban mobility solutions and strategies, showcase success and best practices, inspire peer leaders to create livable cities, and to explore the applicability of public-private partnership to accelerate the transition to sustainable urban mobility.
Several thematic areas have been identified, including active mobility, e-mobility and corporate mobility.
