Access control and ticketing technology for Buenos Aires train network

One of the world’s largest networks is the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (BAMA) rail network with more than 200 stations and is now being modernized with ticketing and access technologies. The company  INDRA is now equipping the rail network with contactless validation systems, baffle gates and automatic recharging machines. To complement this, a monitoring and control system is also in place to speed up passenger control and fare collection and this improving service management.
